2. Writer: the person who takes the idea or concept and writes the script
3. Producer: is in charge of the creative team, usually secures the services of the production team, in charge of preparing shooting schedules, ensuring scenes are shot on time and withing budget
4. Director: directs the performance of the cast and crew, is the one on location telling people what to do, also explains the production to performers and technical crew, has final say on the visual and audio production
5. Production manager: co-ordinates all the different stages, tracks the progress of the production, ensures that a smooth transition between stages occurs within the required time frame
6. Storyboard artist: draws up rough sketches of the scenes to be shot to give the director a visual interpretation of the script which assists in filming and constructing the various scenes
7. Camera operator: shoots required scenes according to the director, work closely with lighting director
8. Sound technician: ensures dialogue and other sound are properly recorded, involved in editing of sound
9. Talent (anyone who performs/is onscreen): the onscreen people who deliver the content,
10. Editor: cut the footage to a suitable length and add in all the other components - music, graphics, special effects, text
11. Define brief: A written account of the content - the intention, purpose and target audience should be included. It should state how long the program will run for and time it must be completed in. Include limitations - budget and time frame.
